Sark Office

Sark is at the heart of the Dixcart organisation. It is where the business was founded and from where it takes its name. It also provides the continuity which is of key importance to the Dixcart organisation, with the involvement of the third generation in the management of the business.

When, thirty years ago, Percy and Rosa Woolford went to Sark to live in Le Grand Dixcart to found the business, the reason for doing so was the absence of income, capital gains, corporate or inheritance taxes. This is still true today. The Island is unique within Europe which is why Sark remains central to Dixcart and the services we provide to our clients.

The principal company operating from Sark is Dixcart Management Limited, which organises the provision of trustee and directorship services by Dixcart.

Dixcart prides itself on being one of the most forward looking independent trust companies within the Bailiwick of Guernsey and one of the few trust companies to have a Full Fiduciary Licence covering operations within Sark and Guernsey. As a result, from both Guernsey and Sark we have the ability to provide an independent and professional management service to clients around the world.

Throughout the last 30 years the activities of the Group have remained independent and are still controlled from Sark. One of our principal services is the incorporation, management and organisation of companies. This incorporation facility is not limited to Guernsey, our expertise extends world-wide.

We believe that our specialised area of international advice requires direct and on-going personal contact to help ensure that we offer the most effective advice to meet our client needs.
