
Abigail Aquilina joined Dixcart Malta in August 2025 as a Business Development Executive. Her role focuses on promoting Dixcart Malta’s services and supporting the expansion of its activities into new markets. She works closely with clients and partners, providing practical guidance and developing business relationships across multiple jurisdictions.
Abigail has an academic background spanning both science and management, holding a Bachelor of Science in Biology and Chemistry from the University of Malta and a Master of Science in Management from the University of Chester. This diverse background supports a business development approach that is both analytical and relationship focused.
Prior to joining Dixcart Malta, Abigail worked at Tech.mt as Business Development and Outreach Manager, where she supported innovation within Malta’s technology sector and built strategic partnerships across both the public and private sectors. Earlier in her career, as a Senior Executive within the Research and Innovation Unit at Xjenza Malta, she played a key role in implementing national thematic programmes and developed extensive expertise in R&I funding opportunities.
Through her professional experience, Abigail has developed a strong network of local stakeholders and professional advisers, enabling her to assist individuals and organisations seeking insights into the Maltese market and its advantages.
