Jason Walker is a Senior Audit and Accounts Manager at Dixcart UK, bringing extensive international experience across audit, accounting, and advisory services. He obtained his degree from the University of South Africa before beginning his career with a small audit practice in South Africa, where he completed his training contract. In 2001, Jason moved to the UK, working across several roles including audit positions, a grant auditor role for the London Borough of Southwark, and a management and tax accounting role within a telecommunications company.
In 2003, Jason returned to South Africa, rejoining his former audit firm where he completed his professional studies and qualified as a Chartered Accountant in 2007. He went on to become a partner at the firm, a position he held for 14 years. As one of a small group of partners, Jason was heavily involved in both technical and operational aspects of the business, including staff management, client relationships, business development, billing, and the delivery of audit, accounting, and tax services. His client base spanned owner‑managed businesses across shipping, education, retail, legal, and insurance sectors.
Jason returned to the UK in October 2021, joining Blick Rothenberg as a Senior Audit Manager, where he managed audits from planning through to completion and led teams across a varied portfolio including global education and food franchising groups. He later joined Moore Kingston Smith in June 2025 in a similar capacity before deciding to pursue a new challenge at Dixcart.
Jason holds the CA(SA) designation and has reciprocal membership with the ICAEW, allowing him to use the ACA designation in the UK. His experience reflects a strong commitment to technical excellence, client service, and leadership within the audit profession.
