Our Approach to Sustainability and ESG

At Dixcart, we recognise that long-term success depends on responsible business practices, strong governance, environmental awareness, and making a positive contribution to the communities in which we operate.

Guided by our family values, we place people, integrity and community at the heart of everything we do.

While our ESG journey is still evolving, we are committed to embedding environmental, social, and governance principles into our everyday operations, decision-making, and workplace culture. We believe meaningful change starts with understanding our impact, taking practical action, and continually improving.

Our approach is simple: start small, act responsibly, measure progress, and continually improve.

Our ESG Journey So Far

Our ESG Journey So Far

In 2026, Dixcart completed its first Group-wide ESG assessment across eight international offices, establishing a baseline from which future progress can be measured.

We assessed key areas including:

  • Employee commuting and business travel
  • Energy consumption
  • Data storage and technology use
  • Office operations and resource management
  • Governance and business ethics
  • Community engagement and social impact
  • Workplace culture and employee wellbeing.

This assessment has established a baseline from which we will track progress through an annual ESG review process.

Our 2026 ESG Baseline

  • 8 international offices
  • 100+ employees
  • Group-wide ESG assessment completed
  • 67% of emissions linked to travel and commuting.

Overall Group Emissions Mix

We are committed to learning, improving, and taking practical actions that create lasting value for our people, our communities, and our planet. Every step forward, however small, contributes to a more responsible and sustainable future.

Our Environmental Priorities

Our initial assessment identified business travel and commuting as our largest source of emissions, helping us prioritise where we can make the greatest impact.

  • Encouraging a digital first, paper light culture
  • Reducing waste and unnecessary printing
  • Improving resource efficiency across our offices
  • Reviewing procurement practices
  • Encouraging smarter travel and commuting choices
  • Promoting virtual-first meetings where appropriate
  • Reviewing business travel policies and planning processes

We are developing a practical carbon reduction roadmap to support our long-term sustainability ambitions and contribute towards a lower-carbon future.

Our People & Communities

Our People

Supporting Our Communities

Giving Back Where We Live and Work

Community engagement is deeply rooted in Dixcart’s culture. Many of the causes we support are inspired by personal connections and experiences within our teams. Whether through fundraising, volunteering, sponsorship, or awareness initiatives.

To support this commitment, every employee is entitled to one volunteer day each year to contribute to a cause that matters to them.

How We Give Back

  • Employee volunteering
  • Charity fundraising
  • Community partnerships
  • Skills and professional support
  • Local charitable initiatives

Stories from Across the Group

Driven by Personal Connections

What makes our community work unique is that many of the charities we support have personal significance to our people.

From supporting children and families facing serious illness, to funding cancer research, emergency response services, disability support, youth development programmes, and local community initiatives, our offices across the UK, Cyprus, Guernsey, Isle of Man, Malta, Portugal and Switzerland are actively engaged in causes that make a real difference.

Every fundraising event, volunteer initiative and community partnership tells a story of people coming together to support causes that matter. We are proud of the positive impact our offices continue to make across the communities in which we live and work.

We are committed to operating with integrity, transparency and accountability while maintaining the highest professional standards.

  • Transparency and accountability
  • Regulatory compliance

We take seriously the responsibility entrusted to us by our clients, colleagues, regulators and communities.

ESG is not a standalone initiative at Dixcart. It is an ongoing commitment to responsible business practices, supporting our people and communities, and making informed decisions that create long-term value for future generations.

By 2028 we aim to:

  • Establish annual Group ESG reporting.
  • Increase employee volunteering participation.

Every step forward matters.
