Profile
Andrea joined the Dixcart Group in March 2024 as the Business Development Executive of the Malta Office. In his role, he contributes to the promotion of the services offered by the Malta Office and the expansion of its activities to new markets.
A graduate in Politics and International relations, Andrea spent 10 years occupying various roles in diplomacy, focusing mostly on the Mediterranean region. After that, he worked for Malta Enterprise, the Maltese Government Agency tasked with attracting Foreign Direct Investment to the country, as Investment Promotion Officer.
From 2020 to 2024, Andrea headed Business Development at FinanceMalta, a Public-Private Partnership set to promote Malta as an international financial services centre. During this time, he frequently travelled internationally gaining extensive knowledge in financial services, including wealth management, funds, fintech and insurance. Over the years, Andrea built an extensive network of contacts in the Maltese financial service industry, both in the public and private sectors, and also internationally. In 2022 he coordinated the rebranding of FinanceMalta.
Andrea is an Italian national and speaks English, Italian, Spanish and French.
