Profile
Martina joined Dixcart in 2019 and was appointed as Head of Legal and Compliance in 2021. She currently also holds the positions of Compliance Officer and MLRO.
Prior to joining Dixcart, she obtained Bachelor of Laws and Master of Advocacy degrees from the University of Malta in 2017 and 2018 respectively. She then furthered her studies at King’s College London where she read for a Master of Arts. Since joining Dixcart, Martina has also obtained an ICA International Diploma in Anti Money Laundering and a Foundation Certificate from IFSP on Trust Law.
Locally, Martina has extensive experience in compliance, including anti-bribery/anti-corruption, compliance, and regulatory matters. She is also responsible for customer onboarding and dealing with in-house technical and legal matters. As such she sits on the Dixcart Group Risk Policy Committee to put in place adequate controls and standards of compliance, across the group.
