Profile
Jonathan Vassallo is the Managing Director of Dixcart Management Malta Limited, a position he has held since 2018. He brings over two decades of financial and leadership experience, combining deep expertise in corporate and indirect taxation with a strong background in operational strategy and client relationship management.
Jonathan joined Dixcart in 2009 and was appointed Director in 2013. He has played a pivotal role in developing the firm’s strategic direction in Malta, ensuring that the highest standards of compliance and operational excellence are consistently maintained. Under his leadership, Dixcart Malta has expanded its international client base and strengthened its reputation in key sectors, including corporate services and yachting.
Prior to joining Dixcart, Jonathan spent 13 years in Malta’s manufacturing industry, serving in senior financial roles, including Accountant and Financial Controller, within two of the island’s leading furniture manufacturing firms. This hands-on industry experience provided him with a robust foundation in financial management and operational efficiency.
In addition to his corporate taxation expertise, Jonathan has been instrumental in establishing and growing Dixcart Malta’s yachting division. His guidance has been central to numerous yacht acquisitions and structuring projects, and he currently serves on the Superyacht Committee of the Malta Chamber of Commerce.
Jonathan is a member of several leading professional bodies, including the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA), the Malta Institute of Taxation (MIT), the Malta Institute of Accountants (MIA), the Malta Institute of Management (MIM), the Malta Chamber of Commerce, and the Malta Maritime Law Association.
